COURSE CONTENT
1. Air conditioning technology : This module covers the fundamentals of air conditioning, including the different types of system (split, multi-split, VRV/VRF, ducted, etc.), the components of installations (compressors, evaporators, condensers, expansion valves, etc.), as well as the basics of refrigerants and how to handle them safely.
2. Installation of air conditioning equipment : This module teaches the techniques involved in installing air conditioning equipment, from choosing the location and sizing the indoor and outdoor units to laying the refrigerant pipes, electrical connections and fixing accessories. It also covers the procedures for initial commissioning of installations.
3. Preventive and corrective maintenance This module covers preventive maintenance procedures to ensure the correct operation of air conditioning installations, including filter cleaning, pressure and temperature control, and lubrication of moving parts. It also covers techniques for diagnosing faults and the corrective action required to restore equipment to working order.
4. Regulations and safety : This module presents the standards and regulations in force in the field of air conditioning, particularly in terms of installation, handling refrigerants and environmental protection. It also emphasises the safety instructions to be observed when working on electrical and refrigeration installations.
5. Energy management and efficiency This module explores the concepts of energy management and energy efficiency in air conditioning installations, highlighting good practices for reducing energy consumption and equipment operating costs.
6. Communication and customer relations : This module develops the communication and customer relations skills needed to establish good contact with customers and understand their needs,
explain how the facilities work and provide a quality service.
